Abstract (EN)
In this study, carried out in University of Cukurova, Department of Horticulture, morphological characterization of 67 Persimmon varieties and types were performed between 2010-2011. In order to determine morphological characterization, plant development stage, growth, brunch structure, characteristics of leaf, fruit and seed were investigated.Examinated in persimmon varieties and types of persimmon were made two separate classification of each classification was evaluated as four groups. First classification was consist of pollination constant, pollination variant, astringent and non-astringent genotypes. Second classification were classified by pollination constant astringent, pollination variant astringent, pollination constant non-astringent, pollination variant non-astringent genotypes. Clusters were formed with genotypes for each group in order to determine morphological similarity between genotypes.Diospyros lotus (ABD) and Yeşil hurma type showed the maximum difference in pollination constant, astringent and pollination constant astringent groups while Seedless and Persimmon Seedless types showed the maximum similarity in all three groups. Furthermore in pollination variant and pollination variant non-astringent groups, Shogatsu had the highest dissimilarity value while Mercatelli and Brazzale were found the most similar varieties in their own groups.
