Abstract (EN)

Without discipline and communication in social life, it is quite difficult to achieve the desired level of success and establish social relations. Therefore, in our study, it is aimed to determine the relationship levels between perceived disciplinary Deci-sions of physical education teachers and communication levels. The universe of our study consists of 243 physical education and sports teachers working in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Elazığ province, and 159 physical education and sports teachers selected by random sampling method constitute the sample of the study. In our study, the 'Teacher Discipline Understanding Scale' and the 'Communication Skills Assessment Scale' were used. As a result of the normality test, it was determined that the data showed a normal distribution. In the analysis of the data, t-test, anova and Tukey test were used. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to examine the relationship between the scales. In the study, the significance level was taken as (p<0.05). According to the total scores obtained from the teacher discipline understanding scale of physical education and sports teachers participating in our study, there was no statistically significant difference between the gender variable, the professional seniority variable and the education level variable. A statistically significant difference was found according to the marital status variable. According to the total score average of the communication skills assessment scale, it Dec found that there is a statistically significant difference between the gender variable and the communication skills assessment levels. There was no statistically significant difference between communication skill assessment levels according to marital status, educational status and professional Decency variable. The total score of the teacher discipline understanding scale was found to be 'above average' with an average of 45.18, and the total score of the communication skills assessment scale was found to be 'higher' than the average with 81.47. It has been found that there is a statistically low level of positive and significant relationship between the teacher discipline Deci-sion scale and the communication skills assessment scale.
