Abstract (EN)
In the study, the effect of physical education and sports teachers' perceived administrative support on job satisfaction was examined in terms of some variables. The participants of the research consist of 178 physical education and sports teachers working in Çorum province in 2022-2023. In the study, a Personal Information Form developed by the researcher was used to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of the individuals participating in the study. The Perceived Administrative Support Scale, developed by Göktepe (2017), was used to determine teachers' perceived administrator support, and its adaptation, validity and reliability study was used to determine job satisfaction levels; The Job Satisfaction scale made by Başol and Çömlekçi (2020) was used. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t test, Pearson correlation and regression analyzes were used to compare two groups. As a result of the research, it was determined that there was a significant difference between the participants' job satisfaction levels and marital status. It was observed that the job satisfaction score average of married teachers (t = 1.72 = 4.53) was significantly higher than that of single teachers (t = 1.46 = 4.34). It is seen that teachers' job satisfaction levels vary significantly depending on the type of school they work in. The job satisfaction score average of teachers working in secondary schools (t = 1.50 = 4.54) is significantly higher than that of teachers working in high schools (t = 1.47 = 4.39). In terms of job satisfaction, the type of school he/she works at is a significant variable. In the study, when the effect of perceived administrative support on job satisfaction in physical education and sports teachers was examined, it was found that administrative support had a low level effect on job satisfaction (R2=0.156). These findings indicate that managerial support has a limited impact on increasing job satisfaction, yet it remains a significant factor.
