Investigation of the effect of physical education and sports teachers' perceptions of organizational clearance on organizational happiness

The aim of this research is to determine the organizational cynicism and organizational happiness levels of Physical Education and Sports Teachers and to examine the decisiveness of organizational cynicism on organizational happiness. In addition, it was purposed to reveal the findings obtained by observing the organizational cynicism and organizational happiness levels of Physical Education and Sports Teachers with the variables of gender, marital status, educational status, age and seniority in this study. In line with this purpose, a total of 318 Physical Education and Sports Teachers, 99 of them female and 219 male, attended in the research voluntarily. Relational screening method was used in the research. "Personal Information Form", "Organizational Cynicism Scale" and "Organizational Happiness Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. Microsoft Excel and SPSS 22.0 package program were utilized from the analysis of the obtained data. The analysis of the data was examined with the cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficients and it was determined that the values varied between .76 and .91. For the normal distribution analysis of the data, skewness and kurtosis values were checked and it was determined that the data had a normal distribution. T-Test was used in pairwise group comparisons and Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between two variables after this stage. Multiple Linear Regression analysis was also conducted in order to state the predictive power of organizational cynicism on organizational commitment. It was determined that there was no significant difference between the variables of gender, marital status, educational status, age and seniority in the organizational cynicism scale and organizational happiness scale of Physical Education and Sports teachers as a result of the analysis. According to the findings of the correlation test between the sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism and the organizational happiness scale, it has been concluded that there is a moderetaly negative relationship between alienation from the institution and organizational happiness, a moderately negative relationship between the factors that reduce performance and organizational happiness, a moderately negative relationship between adverse attitude towards school and organizational happiness, and a moderately positive relationship between employees' decisions, participation in practices and organizational happiness. According to the results of the Multiple Linear Regression analysis, it was deduced that alienation from the institution where Physical Education and Sports Teachers work, which is one of the sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism, the factors that reduce performance, negative attitudes towards school and participation of employees in decisions and practices significantly predicts organizational happiness. In conclusion, it has been determined that organizational cynicism seen in educational institutions is the assessment of organizational happiness.
