Abstract (EN)
The level of development of societies' depends on the quality and importance given to education. Education is the basis of social development with rapidly advancing knowledge systems and technology.Nonformal education covers all the activies of lifelong education, guidance and production which develop socially, economicly and culturally toward the wills,needs and capabilities of one's.The effect of the globalization processes changed the character of education which causes to localization of education in Turkey.Municipalities succeeded much in education activities. In this work the attributes and the grounds of the nonformal education activities of Şişli Municipality are tried explained.
