Abstract (EN)

In this project, it was aimed to develop a liposomal formulation of Bendamustine HCl molecule which crosses the single and double stranded DNA of the cancerous cell with the alkylation of the cancerous cell to disturb the functioning of the cell and forcing the cancerous cells to die in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In this way, the natural affinity of the liposomes to the lymph system will be exploited and it is anticipated that the destructive effects of chemotherapy with B.HCl will be reduced. As is known, the greatest problem with the use of chemotherapy drugs is that they have serious side effects and cause cell damage throughout the body. In this context, the passive targeting of chemotherapy drugs has great importance in terms of patient health and treatment process. In our protocol, liposomal formulation of Bendamustine HCl was prepared and it was aimed to pass the drug to the patient region with passive targeting. Liposomal formulation of Bendamustine HCl has been obtained with the studies conducted within the scope of the thesis. There have been various difficulties with the recovery efforts of Bendamustine HCl. Due to the problems caused by these problems, the amount of active substance loaded on liposomes was limited. In other respects, the results obtained are promising for future work. It is obvious that the difficulties experienced when considering the benefits of the final product will be met. Work should be done by following up-to-date methods to improve the amount of substance loaded on large wigs and liposomes.
