Investigation of the properties of histological and histochemical in the spotted carp (Cyprinion macrostomum Heckel, 1843) 's intestines, liver and pancreas

In this study, the histological structure and histochemical properties of 20 Spotted Carps (Cyprinion macrostomum Heckel, 1843) 's intestines, liver, and pancreas obtained in Fish Springs of Kangal, the province of Sivas, were examined through the light microscope. It was found out that the digestive tract wall of Spotted carp consisted of three-layers called mucosa, muscularis and serosa.The intestinal mucosa of Cyprinion macrostomum was observed to be curved, compose of prismatic epithelial cells and have goblet cells. Goblet cells in the intestine alcian blue showed high positiveness with PAS/AB pH 2.5) and AB (pH 2.5) while with PAS and AB stain applied to pH 1.0 the result was low positiveness. Reticles in the intestinal mucosa, collagen ve elastic yarns have been demonstrated through Humason silvering dye.Not only there have been sinusoids in Cyprinion macrostomum's liver and kupffer cells on sinusoid walls, but also pancreatic acinar cells have been detected in its pancreas.
