Abstract (EN)
The most important principles in Classical Turkish Music are Iyrical pieceswhich have been past down to present day to create the style and mood of Classical Turkish Music. By embracing this style and mood, composers may pass on Classical Turkish Music to younger generations. It is very important to listen to, understand and recall the composers that practise this coupling through the records thatwe have from old Iyrical pieces. This study in which we expose the characteristics of Bekir Sıdkı Sezgin in the performance of his work in composition form consists of three parts. The first chapter explains the life of Bekir Sıdkı Sezgin in detail. The second chapter, first explains the meşk system and then it discusses two important elements in this system. The style and attitude issues, and then we explain the compositional form which is also the subject of the study. The third part contains the problem situation and the findings based on the follow-up problems. It also explains the ornamental techniques and musical expression elements that Bekir Sıdkı Sezgin used when he perform his work in composition form. Conveyed is the analysis of sixteen Works, created by selecting a sample from Bekir Sıdkı Sezgin's accessible audio recordings, from the works he performed in each maqam in composition form. In the conclusion section, all the data obtained are concluded.
