Abstract (EN)
In this study, torsional irregularty coefficients of reinforced concrete frame structures have been calculated with both a linear elastic dynamic analysis and nonlinear static procedures and comparatively investigated. 168 number of buildings which have different story numbers (1, 2, 5, 8), numbers of bay (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and eccentricity (% 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30) have been choosen as structural models. STA4-CAD structural analysis program has been used for the linear elastic dynamic analysis. Two constant lateral load patterns, proportional to the shape of the fundamental mode of vibration of the structure and uniform, have been preferred for the single-mode nonlinear static analysis. At the same time to take into account of higher modes contribution of the torsional effects, Modifiye Modal Pushover Analysis procedure have been used for the multi-mode nonlinear static analysis SAP2000 package program have been used for the nonlinear static procedures.
