A study on manzums with religious content in Beyânü'l-Hak

Beyânü'l-Hak is among the periodicals that started to be published with the declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy II. Beyânü'l-Hak, published between 1908-1912, consists of 182 issues. Beyânü'l-Hak is an important source in terms of revealing the religious, political, literary and social structure of the period. In this study, after scanning all the verses in the journal, an evaluation was made on the content of the religious verses identified. In this way, it is aimed to identify and explain the subjects touched upon in the religious verses in Beyânü'l-Hak, which is considered as a whole. Accordingly, the study is divided into three sections. In the first part, general information about the journal, its staff of writers and literary content are mentioned. In the second and third sections, the classification and content evaluation of the religious verses are analyzed. In the appendix, tables of all the verses in the journal are included. In this study, it has been determined that the common element in the religious verses of the journal is the love of Islam, which is processed with the combination of scientific knowledge and literary feelings. In addition to this, the religious verses are heavily influenced by Classical Turkish literature and Sufism. As a result, it can be stated that the two main issues that do not change in the policy followed by the journal are the value given to Islam and science.
