The determinants of usage and changing frecuency of smartphone among the students of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University

The number of cell phone users gradually increases along with technological progress nowadays. Cell phone technology succeeding computer technology arises as the most improving mobile communication form among the communication technologies. Cell phone by clearing off physical distances in the world has made communication easy and it has been one of the most important progresses in the communication technology. Among cell phones, the highest demand is towards smart phones with respect to features possessed. Cell phone used for communication purpose at the beginning has been started to be used for great number of purposes with the attachment of features of PDAs to cell phones, such as entertainment, culture, GPS, social accounts, internet, sharing, writing etc.. Besides communication, the demand for cell phones rises day by day based on innovations and diversities brought by cell phone. The increase in the demand of cell phone is quite higher among university students who quickly adapt innovations and diversities. As technology progress, university students increase their usages and demands for devices having higher functionality like cell phone. From this point of view, this study will reveal the determinants of intended purposes and changing frequency of cell phone among the students of Bilecik Seyh Edebali University by conducting a survey to relevant students.
