Abstract (EN)
In this study, Single Channel Method (SCM), Divided Channel Method (DCM), Exchange Discharge Method (EDM), Ackers Method (COHM), which are 1-D methods, and Shiono-Knight Method (SKM), one of 2-D methods, were used to determine the conveyance capacity in compound channels. Those methods were compared with each other. The method which has given the least error was determined. The effect of secondary flows at SKM was also investigated. Multiple Non-linear Regression (MNLR) equation and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model were developed using issued data to estimate discharge in compound channels. The performances of those methods were analyzed. The statistical results of methods were given in this study.
