Abstract (EN)

The concept of knowledge, which can be evaluated as an output structured as a result of neuro-epistemic processes and mechanisms, has been considered as an important power in the civilizational historical background of humankind. Wisdom is the ability to use this power correctly and beneficially. To love knowledge is to always be in search of it. In Socrates' words, the most important characteristic of wise people is that they are aware that the only thing they know is that they do not know anything. Wisdom is an adventure that requires being in a constant process of epistemic search and questioning in a virtuous manner, rather than reaching an absolute final result or point, and where this search or questioning can continue indefinitely. Wisdom is mental serenity. The wise person is in inner enlightenment because he or she is aware of their own existences. Wisdom has an important role in the life of human beings. It provides internal and spiritual support to the person in all areas of life. Wisdom has always been considered an important subject since ancient times and has been researched in various interdisciplinary branches. But in modern times, the vital conjuncture defined by unnecessary information overload or information confusion and complexity caused by epistemic congestion paradigms has led people to increasingly need wisdom. In the modern conjuncture of the 21st century, there is rapid change and transformation in every aspect of life. This leaves negative effects on people both materially and spiritually. These effects can often be quite harmful and destructive. In such a situation, it is inevitable that people need wise understanding and literacy in order to approach events more wisely and patiently. That's why wisdom literacy education is seriously important, especially in this age. In this MA seminar study, in which a qualitative methodology was adopted and a number of conceptual and mixed method postulates were put forward, a number of interdisciplinary perspectives were put forward on the importance of adapting wisdom literacy to educational environments.
