Risk assessment applications in an industrial vocational high school Trabzon MTAL example

Although made some studies many years ago, the attention of the subject of occupational health and safety has been getting increase especially new law regulations recent years. Whereas the most of the accidents which are preventive, it is also seen how importance of revealing of the possibilities of accidents before they happen. From this point of view perform a risk assessment in school or workplace and take precautions according to assessment is clear that preventing accidents The working areas of this research constitutes the field of ateliers and computer labs in Trabzon Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. In this study, quantitative method which includes Job Safety Analysis method and Checklist methods integrated together would developed. After that this method was applied risk assessment would evaluate qualitatively by determining cause effect relations with matrix diagram (L Type Matrix). In this study; sources of danger would be determined, dangers which are caused by that determined sources of danger would be defined by observation and investigations, risk analysing of each dangers would be done, it would be determined measures for disappearance of danger or controlling the risk according to risk analyses and all studies were presented in the report. This study is expected to be the guidance to other schools
