Abstract (EN)
Akana Mühendislik A.Ş. is a medium sized enterprise which carries on a business in defense industry. In this thesis study, concurrent engineering implementation is performed as a design project in this firm. With implementing quality function deployment (QFD), we worked on design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and emphasized the needed technical issues. These different functions are analyzed under two titles such as starting a synchronous operation and earned value from all the studies. Bounds of this study are having design projects again & again and not having a current data packet. Starting from offer stage to logistic support, there are not any data packets that can be another bound for above mentioned study. At the end of this study, we got productive results such as decreasing in quality costs, reconstituted organization, increasing in customer satisfaction, ratio of suggestions are decreased for engineering change proposal, determining the critical points of design and development and gained early delivery performance.
