Personal factor analysis of those doing individual and team sports (a survey people who do sports high level with the personality factor inventory Cattel)

IV SUMMARY The purpose of the survey was to put forward the fundamental factors related to personal features of the male and female athletes and also to determine the relation between family structure and their income, occupation, educational status, and gender which is thought to have affect on these factors [The athletes who have received degrees in the international competition, took part in the Olympic Team on behalf of his/her country, athletes who have been invited to national team caps, who raced in upper categories and who have obtained degrees in the first 5 sportsmen in his/her country (Deborah, Ewing & Ewing, 1987) (10)]. Participants were from individual sports such as Gymnastics, Billiards, Teakwood and Field (7 sportsmen), Judo (25 sportsmen) and Wrestling (15 sportsmen). Team sports from Volleyball (17player), Handball (11 Player) and Basketball (18 player) were also participants for this study. T-test between TSÜES and BSÜES by considering a subscale of 16 KFE revealed a significant difference t 0,05 for Factor Q4; Factor G and Factor B and a significant difference 1 0,01 Factor A. On the order hand, no significant difference have been found between the levels for Factor (C, E, H, I, L, M, N, O, Qlp Q2 and Q3) T-test between TSÜKS and BSÜKS by considering a subscale of 1 6 KFE showed a significant difference 1 0,05 for Factor A. On the order hand, for Factor (B, C, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, Qis Q2,, Q3 and Q4) no significant differences were determined. T-test between TSÜES and TSÜKS for a subscale of 16 KFE displayed significant differences has been observed at a level of 0,05 for Factor (A, B, C, E, F, G, H, L, M, N, 0,0,Q1,Q2,Q3andQ4). T-Test between BSÜES and BSÜKS for subscale of 16 KFE demonstrated a significant difference at level 0,01 for Factor A, Factor I and Factor O while Factor G had a significant difference at level 0,05. By using One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and following up with Post- Hoc Test (Tukey HDS) between sports types (individual and team sports) and subscale of 16 KFE revealed and significant difference at level 0,05 for Factor B, Factor E, Factor G and Factor Q4 while Factor A and Factor G had a significant difference at levelSUMMARY 0,01. on the order hand, for Factors (C, F, H, I, L, M, N, O, Qi, Q2 and Q3) no significant difference has been determined. By applying Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and subscale Posttoc Test (Tukey HDS) between the educational status and subscales of 16 KFE showed no significant difference at level 0,05 for all Factors. ANOVA and following up with Tukey HDS analysis, between occupations athletes and a subscale of 16 KFE, the results displayed a significant difference at level 0,05. On the order hand, for Factors (B, C, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, Qi, Q2 and Q3) no significant difference has been determined. By using ANOVA and Tukey HSD analysis, between income levels and a subscale of 16 KFE, the results showed a significant difference for Factor A, Factor G and Factor N at level 0,05 while Factor C, Factor E and Factor Q4 had significant difference at level 0,01 The low level of correlation between subscale items of 16 KFE, as well as independent variables themselves. Indicated Mat all subscale items of 16 KFE and all independent variables independent indices, therefore, no multi collinearly was not a problem. In addition, the correlations between subscales items of 16 KFE and independent variables were also low indicating that all variables were independent and multi collinear was not a treat in this study.
