STIRLING NUMBERS AND APPLICATIONS IN COMBINATORIAL ANALYSISBirol İBİŞMatematik, M.S. ThesisIn this study, Stirling Numbers and the properties of these numbers were studied.The firstchapter involves knowledge that will form a basis for the next parts.In the second chapter, Stirling numbers of the first kind were defined and their propertieswere discussed.In the third chapter, Stirling numbers of the second kind were defined and their propertieswere discussed.In the fourth chapter, p-Stirling numbers of the first and second kinds were defined and theirproperties were discussed.Finally, MATLAB programs that calculate the studied Stirling numbers, were developed.Keywords: Stirling numbers of the first and second kinds, p-Stirling Numbers of the first andsecond kinds , Rising Factorial, Falling Factorial.JURY:1.
