Abstract (EN)

Agriculture is a large and serious sector developing on a global basis. Another important topic in agriculture is disinfection. One of the objectives of spray application technologies is to use the right amount of pesticides at the right time and the right amount of pesticides to reduce the level of pests in improving crop production. For this, it is necessary to determine the atomization characteristics of the nozzle used and the factors affecting these characteristics. In this study, the effects of flow parameters of drop cone atomizer on droplet diameter of single conical atomizer in conventional spraying units were investigated. For this purpose, for constant spraying speed and spraying angle in the system; three different nozzle-surface distances (70cm, 85cm, 100cm), three different working pressure (6bar, 8bar, 10bar) and three different nozzle diameters (0.85mm, 1.10mm, 1.50mm) were determined as flow parameters. The experiments were carried out in duplicate at different times considering the possibility of any error, and the results obtained on the water sensitive paper were processed and the volumetric diameter and homogeneity values were obtained. In order to examine the effect of the parameters on the obtained values, graphs were drawn and interpreted. In general, the same nozzle diameter and spray distance; As the atomization pressure increased, the characteristic drop diameters were reduced and the homogeneity coefficient improved. Comparing nozzle diameters for the same spraying pressure and spraying distance; It was observed that the diameter of the droplet increased with increasing nozzle diameter and the homogeneity value deteriorated.
