Abstract (EN)

Disinfection of materials used in agriculture particularly initial phase is crucial to prevent facing any problem at all stages of production. Disinfection possibilities of materials such as glass, plastic, metal, styropor used in agriculture by ozone varied forms and concentration were investigated in this study. For this purpose, different concentrations of O3 gas (50, 100 and 150 mg O3/Nm3 for 15 and 30 minutes) and O3 supplemented water (6 and 8 g O3/ Nm3 dose) were applied to surfaces inoculated artificially by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici. In addition to ozone supplemented water applications, distilled water and peroxyacetic acid were sprayed. The effects of ozone treatments on microbial content of the ambient air at same applications were researched too. Evaluation of results showed that ozone applications have been successful for disinfection of surface and ambient air. Especially disinfection success of surface application is more than % 90. As a result, ozone treatments were found effective for disinfection of surface of the material and ambient air.
