Abstract (EN)

This study, which investigated the effect of biogas digested liquid (BDL) released after biogas energy production on soils and yield and some quality characteristics of corn plants, was carried out as a 2-year field trial. In the experiment, BDL doses to be applied to the plots were determined as 1, 3, 5, 7 t/da. The amount of nitrogen (N) given to the plots was calculated over 21 kg/da N, which is the amount needed by the corn plant during the development period. In the plots where the BDL does not meet the N requirement, the missing amount of N was equalized by adding urea fertilizer. Thus, the trial subjects were G0 (Control), G1 (1 ton BDL + 33,04 kg/da urea), G3 (3 tons BDL + 7,82 kg/da urea), G5 (5 tons BDL) and G7 (7 tons BDL) was determined. After the SFU bodies, the EC, pH, organic carbon and inorganic N contents of the soils were monitored monthly. After the BDL application, EC, pH, organic carbon and inorganic N contents of the soils were monitored monthly. Some physical properties of soils and the effect on yield properties of maize plant were determined after harvest. While the salt content of the soils increased statistically, especially in the first months, with the BDL application, the change in the following months was not statistically significant. Although the pH value of the soil decreased especially in the first two months depending on the SFU application, the effect in the following months was not significant. While the amount of inorganic nitrogen (NH4+-N, NO3--N) in the soil gave the highest statistical result in the first month of both years, its effect in the following months was not significant compared to mineral fertilization. BDL application gave different results on soil organic matter depending on the years and its effect did not make a difference in soil organic matter classification in both years. It was determined that the effect of BDL on the physical properties of the soil (bulk weight, hydraulic conductivity, available water capacity) was not statistically significant. Although the yield in the plant was found to be statistically significant in both years, the best effect of the G1 subject in the 1st year and the G7 subject in the 2nd year did not give a consistent result in terms of determining the ideal dose. In addition, the fact that the BDL applied to the soils increases the salt content of the soils in both years shows that the use of this material may cause problems in terms of soil salinity. N losses in the form of NH3-N and NO3--N and changes in soil microbiota depending on doses should also be taken into account in BDL applications.
