Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT Among the empires that have ever been established, Roman Byzantium Empire occupies an important place in history of humanity. In the Byzantinium period after Christianity had been accepted as the cultural structure of the state turned into a religious feature. Therefore, the relations between Byzantinium and Vatican were mevitable. In this study, the relations between Byzantinium and Vatican (X. - XV. Centuries) were investigated. Every single century was handled seperately and at the end an overall evalmation was given.
