Abstract (EN)
In our country, 13 out of every 100 people suffer from kidney Stones (Yalçınkaya, 2007). In addition, water drinking habits can increase this rate. Upon examination of kidney stone surgeries, many misdiagnosis and treatment practices in terms of patient and physician rights are found. This shows that patients are in danger of losing their kidneys. Supporting the training of surgeon candidates with the help of a simulator before application on the patient in real life is the subject of our thesis. Our simulator thesis includes R&D studies in three different fields: design, software and hardwareelectronics. In addition, human anatomy and health knowledge is needed within the scope of the simulator thesis. Medical advice will be obtained from Medipol University to meet this information requirement. We believe that with the simulator we will develop, we will contribute to the reduction of foreign dependence in the health field and to the national added value in the national sense.
