Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between burnout and job satisfaction levels of prison employees and to determine whether there is a significant difference in burnout and job satisfaction levels according to demographic variables. The research was introduced to the literature in terms of measuring job satisfaction and burnout of Bolu T type Penitentiary employees according to some demographic variables. On the other hand, it is thought that prison employees will contribute to prison employees by proposing measures that will increase job satisfaction and reduce burnout levels. A total of three questionnaires, including the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, the Maslach Burnout Inventory, and the Personal Information Forum, were administered to 200 staff members from the penal institutions. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that there was a significant relationship between job satisfaction levels of the penitentiary personnel and burnout and burnout sub-dimensions. This relationship is negative and moderately strong. There was no significant difference between the demographic characteristics and job satisfaction and burnout and sub-dimensions of burnout.
