Abstract (EN)

Borazines is a compound that boron combines with nitrogen as ring system. There are conjugative double bound between boron and nitrogen. Thus, borazine, the inorganic analogue of benzene, is similar in physical properties and structure but chemically much more reactive the prototype of aromatic system. Borazines are used as the transition compound to BN, which has technologic important, and in the producing of ceramic and fiber optic. Türkiye has approximately 60 % of boron reserved of the World. For these reason. The studies on the boron and boron compounds must be increased. In this study, borazine (B3N3H6) was synthesized according to litarature procedures. In additon, B-trichloroborazine (B3CI3N3H3) and N-trimethylborazine [B3N3(CH3 )3H3] were obtained. Reaction products were characterized by using IR and elementel analysis techniques. Key Words : Borazine. B-trichloroborazine, N- trimethylborazine
