Abstract (EN)

The increasing population and developing technology in our world are also increasing the energy demand exponentially. The need for renewable energy sources has reached the point of necessity. Solar cells are an important research area as a renewable energy source. Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC), which are called third generation, are organic solar cells. DSSC structure consists of main materials such as photoanode, dye, electrolyte and photocathode. Small changes in these materials significantly affect the cell efficiency. In this study, photoanodes were produced from three different semiconductor materials TiO2, ZnO and Sn2O2. Current-voltage (I-V) measurements of three different photoanodes in the DSSC structure were made under the solar simulator. Filling factor (FF) and cell efficiency (ɳ) were calculated from I-V values. The results were compared in terms of three different photoanodes.
