Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to determine the most suitable green manure legume forage plant that can be used in the wheat-sunflower crop rotation, which is applied intensively in the Thrace region, and to examine the effects of the plants used in the study on the yield criteria and some physical and chemical properties of the soil in case the plants used in the study are mixed with the soil or their upper parts are used as feed. It was carried out as a field trial in Kırklareli. While the lime content was found to be 8.81% in the parcels where sunflower was not planted, this rate was 8.84% in the parcels where sunflower was planted. The organic matter content (2.08%) of the plots in which the pre-plant was evaluated as green manure was higher than the plots (2.06%) which were evaluated as green grass. Soil phosphorus content, which was determined as 18.57 kg/da at the beginning of the research, was determined as 18.14 kg/da in the parcels evaluated as green manure and 17.17 kg/da in the parcels evaluated as green grass. In the first year of the study, the potassium content of the plots where no sunflower was planted after the pre-harvest was 117.61%, the content of the plots in which sunflower was planted was 114.68%. It was determined as .63. While the highest sunflower yield was obtained from the plots planted with large vetch, with an average yield of 300.07 kg/da, forage peas (292.78 kg/da), Hungarian vetch (285.56 kg/da), common vetch (271.54 kg/da) and lupine (271.08 kg/da) were obtained from the planted plots. According to the results of the research, it is seen that it is possible to grow a legume plant as a pre-plant, instead of leaving the field empty, in the wheat-sunflower alternation in the wheat-sunflower alternation in the 9-month period from wheat harvest to sunflower planting, both as a green herb source and as a green manure source.
