Implementation of the fuzzy logic-based dunn learning style model

To reveal the students learning style, in this study Dunn's learning style based on fuzzy logic was improved. There are five important factors in the Dunn's learning model, such as; environmental, emotional social, physiological and psychological. In order to reveal students' learning style, Mandani type of fuzzy logic with five entries and one exit was used. This system was modelled by means of computer program called Matlab. The user, by having interface, in the process of imrovement of Dunn learning style, C# programming language was used. The aim of this study is to find the appropriate way of Dunn learning style which might be utilized to the secondary students learning style. This study was held in 2015-2016 school year in Manisa city center, the participants of which were 126 students of 9., 10., 11. ve 12. grades of Manisa Halit Görgülü Anatolian Highschool attached to the Ministry of Education. ANOVA and Turkey tests were used according to data. The differences between learning style of students and their gender, learning style of students and their ages, learning style of students and their department, learning style of students and their classes were revealed.
