Abstract (EN)
Bulgarian Turks are one of the ethnic minorities living in various regions of Bulgaria and spread throughout Bulgaria today. Many Turks who settled in the region with the migration processes from Bulgaria to Anatolia carried their culture to Afyonkarahisar region with this migration process. In this study, the folk culture of Bulgarian Turks living in Afyonkarahisar was compiled. In the introduction part of the study, compilation information; information about the subject, importance, purpose, scope, method, compilation and transcription of the material is given. In addition, there is information obtained from written and oral sources about the historical and geographical characteristics of Afyonkarahisar province, the research area, its population and the settlements of Bulgarian Turks in Afyonkarahisar. Folk economy, folk architecture, folk cuisine, transition periods, festivals, ceremonies and celebrations, children's games and practices and beliefs belonging to folk literature products were recorded as a result of the interviews conducted in the research area. Field research was carried out using compilation, observation and interview techniques. In the study, it was determined that the folk culture of Bulgarian Turks living in Afyonkarahisar was influenced by the belief and cultural circles of Central Asia and Anatolia and that it carries these traces within itself.
