Hand knitted socks ,which are unique as clothing part in the Turkish Handicrafts, are worn everyday and are become worn out because of the need and thus they disappear over time. Reduction of individuals who engage in knitting socks began to run out of this branch of art.The purpose of the research is that identifying the hand-knitted socks by analysing and implementing the techniques and patterns of the socks to applications of the present day.The villages that still continue making hand-knitted socks were analyzed. The villages are Sorgun, Kocakovacik, Gedikören and Çeki. Total of 30 product that has traditional characteritics were studied in the region.Information about these products is presented in the form of data sheets and photos.Hand-knitted socks in the region motif, pattern, design, technique, equipment - material properties and socks with historical information about individuals who were identified by questionnaire.Bursa Mountain Region as a tools of traditional hand-knitted socks crochet, as a supplies wool in the past examplies and synthetic yarn were used in the present examplies. Knitting socks was started through toe, one-way simple loop technique in the form of cylinderhas been used as knitting techniques.Hand-knitted socks have a structure motifs are rich in variety and color.
