Abstract (EN)
Bursa, located at one of the intersection points of Europe and Asia, has been a place where trade has developed due to its location, which has paved the way for different cultures to be active and formed. It has also been home to many cultures from prehistory to the present day. Among these civilizations, the most intense period of architectural activities was the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) and Ottoman periods. In the study, four buildings converted from Eastern Roman churches into mosques during the Ottoman period were identified. The one in the best condition today is the Fatih Mosque. In this study, the historical development, plan, architecture, materials and ornamentation of the aforementioned spolia mosques were analyzed and their current status was investigated and evaluated in line with the information obtained from various sources.
