Determination of user profile and comparison their preference and expectations i̇n reşat oyal cultural and Merinos Parks's in Bursa city

Nowadays together with increasing industrialization and urbanization, increased recreation need of people's have directed their to new areas and activities. Urban parks is an important example for areas that serve this purpose in urban space. These parks have a recreational functions as well as an aesthetic, educational and ecological functions. when urban parks made to not determine exactly of user's profile, preferences and expectations it can be lead to many with no return problems. For these reasons, while the recreational needs of people are met, user profiles, preferences and expectations need to be considered in urban park planning and designing stage. To this end, user surveys constitute an important datas in planning, designing and management process of urban parks. In this study, factors which is affected urban park use aimed to reveal towards the results of identifying user's profile, comparing with each other user's preferences and expectations in the same field Resat Oyal Cultur and Merinos parks in city of Bursa. For these purposes, questionnaire applied and the results evaluated with statistical analysis. As a result, problems, requests and suggestions were identified depending the survey study which was done, recommendations were given for both the study area and urban parks.
