Abstract (EN)
In this study, we identified 136 gravestones from the Ottoman period in graveyards of Lalaşahinpaşa, Tatkavaklı, Kestelek, Ormankadı, Karaoğlan, Tepecik, Aliseydi, Üçbeyli, Yamanlı, Melik, Sünlük, Ocaklı and Yumurcaklı which are the towns and districts of Mustafakemalpaşa of Bursa. The gravestones belonging to 92 men and 43 women dated to the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The earliest date of the tombstones was 1027 H / 1617-1618 A.D. In the first part of this study, the catalog information of 136 gravestones that we identified as a result of the researches are given. In the second part, the evaluation of the gravestones in terms of form, ın the third part the decoration, type of writing and text content were classified under three headings. As a result, gravestones in this region, which reflect the Turkish history and culture, belong to the Ottoman period with the value of an archival document were recorded. In addition, it was concluded that the changes in form, ornamentation and writing types of the gravestones and the reasons of these changes.
