Abstract (EN)

International relations, a discipline that studies the interaction and cooperation between states and other actors, has become essential to promoting world peace and stability and finding collective solutions to global challenges. In these relations, ambassadors have played important roles in facilitating communication and diplomacy between states and initiating hundreds of agreements, protocols, contracts and negotiations that contributed to the development of bilateral relations. In line with the friendly relations that have been established since 1946, the date when the State of Jordan gained its independence, the "Friendship Treaty" was signed between the Republic of Turkey and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Ankara on January 11, 1947. This agreement paved the way for the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states and laid the foundation for the right of representation at the embassy, initiating a period of close contact in diplomatic relations that continues to this day. The research model preferred in the study was taken as the basis to collect information about the characteristics of the universe and to describe people, situations or events completely and accurately. The research aims to examine the effects of the Turkey-Jordan Friendship Treaty in the field of history and diplomacy on the relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Turkey, and the ambassadors assigned by the State of Jordan to Turkey and the relations between the Republic of Turkey and Jordan within the international system on the basis of these ambassadors.
