Abstract (EN)

Chagatay Turkish is the noun of the written language used by Turks living in Central Asia from the beginning of the 15th to the early 20th century. This written language continues its existence today as Uzbek Turkish and New Uyghur Turkish. In this study, the nouns used in Chagatay Turkish and Uzbek Turkish, which is seen as its continuation, were compared and the phonetic, morphological and semantic properties of this noun entity were tried to be determined. In the thesis, due to the development of Turkish from the 15th century to the 19th century, the nouns that have fallen out of use in Uzbek Turkish and the nouns that have been used in Uzbek Turkish although they are not used in Chagatay Turkish are also included. "Turkish Uzbek Dictionary" published by Suat Unlu in 2013 for chagatay Turkish and "Uzbek-Turkish dictionary" published by Emek Ushenmez, Saidbek Boltabayev and Gulshah Tuglachi in 2016 were used for Uzbek Turkish.
