Abstract (EN)
This search was carried out to determine the position of the pieces of Turkish Contemporary Piano Music in the education of piano at the Department of Music Education at the Gazi University and the role in the period of gaining on the behaviour wanted in the piano education. In the search, some parts of data were collected by means of questionnaire from the piano teachers at scanning literature was done for the another part of the search. In relation to the search, the results of the questionnaire which were applied to the piano teacher at the Department of Music at the Gazi University and the behaviours that the pieces of Music which were taken to the scope of search contained were shown in the forms of tables. Moreover, the offers concerning the performance in the piano education of the pieces of Turkish Contemporary Piano Music at the Department of Music at the Gazi University were submitted at the and of search.
