Abstract (EN)
Since the late 1980s, international events and mass media in Turkey which increases the interaction with the global art scene with condensation, 'contemporary' art has strengthened its infrastructure. The effects of the pioneering movements, which started in the 1970s and intensified in the 1980s, manifested themselves in the 1990s by being absorbed in the art environment. In this process, which created a radical alternative to the ongoing conservative art approach, political, economic and social factors were influential. new dynamics emerging in the art scene in this time range covering the most turbulent periods of Turkey's history, not only change the current understanding of art but also laid the groundwork for new initiatives. Starting with Altan Gurman in Turkey, it approaches the question of borders, initially though was limited to individual outputs, in Turkey, with the inclusion of new names in the coming years has increased the number of artists who pioneered the conceptual approach. These ruptures that appeared in the early dates have been integrated into the art environment with the emergence of new exhibition areas in the following period and periodically organized exhibitions focusing on this area. Conceptual approach and prepare the infrastructure that accommodates the Istanbul Biennial Exhibition of New Trends, events such as a cross-section of the Leading Turkish Art Exhibition, developers have been in this process, Turkey has brought a breath of fresh air to the art scene. This process following exhibitions in Istanbul Biennial has become the most significant turning point, Contemporary Art, in Turkey. It has played a decisive role both in the production of artists and in the reception of the conceptual approaches of the art audience. It is observed that a more free art environment is dominant in terms of the style used and the subjects studied since the second half of the 1990s in the art environment that gained diversity in the process fed by all these dynamics.
