The elemements of theme and education on child novels written by Cahit Uchuk

Literature is the best way to effect a child?s soul. Literature makes the world of childrenricher. It helps to develope a child?s conscious.During the hole life, a child develops its mental, physical and emotional parts. Whilegrowing up, a child begins to recognise itself and environment, all while asking questions,resaerching and wanting to get more information. Childrens nevels help them to satisfy theirwants.In this research, nine novels written by Cahit Uchuk are exanined from the theme andeducational points of view.In these novels generally, abstract subjects were used like: love, solidarity, friendship,tolerans and etc. Themes such aslove of family, love of country, love of animals, helping eachother, health, being learned and so on, which were given attention bu Cahit Uchuk, helps to formconseption of fudgement in children.Cahit Uchuk used pure simple and easy Turkish words.Key words: child, child novels, theme, education.
