Improving image processing application for upper surface quality control in the glass sector

In this study the ovality control which has became to use in glass sector was examined and realized. In this project the top structure of glasses have been examined. In this project programmable logic controller and image processing method have been used. The glasses with suitable superstructure will pass the test and the unsuitable glasses will not pass. The topics in the project are the structure of glass, the glass sector in the world, the glass production stages, industry 4.0 and the glass industry and the phases of the project. This project can be further developed. It can be implemented as a single automation, not individual automation.
