Structure and theme in Canan Tan's novels

Although Canan Tan produces works in the genres of novels and stories, she is mostly known for her novels. Canan Tan's novels are based on topics that are current and always valid. In this study, Canan Tan's novels are discussed in the context of structure and theme. The study has been advanced in an original way in order to reveal the structural and thematic data that Canan Tan's novels present to the reader. The study basically consists of four main sections. The 'First Chapter' of the study is divided into the topics of the subject of the research, the purpose of the research, the importance of the research, the problem of the research, the limitations of the research and the literature summary of the research, and general information about the study is presented. In the 'Second Part' of the study, detailed information about Canan Tan's life, literary personality and works is given. The purpose of this section is to get to know the author, who is the creator of the works, better and to reconcile the work with the author. The 'Third Chapter' of the study was determined as the focal point of the study and Canan Tan's novels were discussed in the context of structure and theme. This section can be said to be the most important part of the study. The 'Fourth Chapter' of the study was considered as the last chapter and in this section, the novels examined throughout the study were tried to be approached in terms of language and style.
