Abstract (EN)
The dividend book were crucial elements which reveal the social ecenimic cultural structure Ottomans. They served as elaborate census records of individuals' income, property and amount of their taxes; besides the physical features and professions of the family members. In this thesis the socio-economic status of the villages in Kursunlu in the 19'th century. The books of the dividends are kept in National Ottoman archives.
