CROSSED SQUARE Ahmet BEKIR Department of Mathematics, M.Sc Thesis, 2000 Supervisor : Associative Prof. Dr. Murat ALP SUMMARY This thesis is based on Crossed Square over Groups and Algebras, it consists of four chapters. A brief introduction is given in chapter 1. Chapter 2 contains the basic concepts of Semi-direct product, Cat'-group, Cat2-groups. Crossed Modules and Crossed Modules Morphisms. The examples of Crossed Modules over groups and algebras were presented in Chapter 3. Crossed Square and its morphism, its examples over groups and algebras have been given in Chapter 4. Key Words: Modul, Action, Semi-direct product, Cat'-group, Cat'-group, Crossed modul, Crossed square.
