Abstract (EN)
By the result of floristic investigations in Çermik (Diyarbakır) province, it was established .34 geophyte plant taxa that belong to 5 families, and 22 genera from the Liliopsida classis are grown. The Liliaceae family which is presented with 10 genera and 20 species was found out is the highest diverted in the region. The Iridaceae and Orchidaceae families are presented with 5 species. Genus Allium has 4 and Genera Muscari, Colchicum and Ornithogalum have 3 species in the region.Among the plant grown in the region, it was determined that 17 taxa (50 %) belong to Iran-Turan, 8 taxa (24 %) belong to Mediterranean,-East Mediterranean, and the left 9 taxa `s(26 %) fitogeographic region. could not be determined.In Çermik region, it was determined that 4 following Crocus leichtlinii, Colchicum balansae, Scilla leepii and Dactylorhiza osmanica endemic geophyte plants are grown:.
