Translationscience and German Qur'an translations

The study consists of introduction, two parts and conclusion. The introduction sectionin cludes Translationscience and German Qur'an Translations, as well as the researches utilities. First part; The subject of the study in cludes the definition, history, methods and problems of Translation Studies, approaches and views on Linguistics and Translation Studies in Germany. In addition, in this section, different opinions are evaluated and in order to create the most effective translation methods for the Qur'an, it has been aimed to reconcile the views or to prefer some of them to the others. The second part is; It in cludes some selected German Translations, History, Procedures and Problems of the Qur'an, Evaluation of Some German Translation Text Samples of the Qur'an in terms of Translation Studies, Contribution to the Translation of a New Qur'an in German. In some German Translation Text Samples of the Quran, the errorsdetected in terms of Translation Studies and the Qur'an's Interpretation Procedure and the correct form of these errors are given. Thus, an effort has been made to develop a new method for the new translations of the Qur'an in German and the translations of the Holy Qur'an in to Turkish and all other World languages. Thus; Efforts have been made to contribute to the development and adoption of a Qur'an Translation Method based on the basic rules of the Qur'an Interpretation Procedure, which was formed with the History of the Qur'an, the History of the Qur'an and the History of Tafsir. An interpretative, process-oriented, communicative, functional, pragmatic and annotated Qur'an Translation Method has been proposed as an Effective Translation Studies in Qur'an Translations.
