Enviromental security and effects on enterprise`s activities

Besides all socialstructures security point, residing in outer environment factors, affects enterprise activities,customer activity and investment decision. In this context, we have proceeded with thehypotheses that during last 20 years, terror, destructive or separatist movements have affectedenterprise activities; those besides escalating or decreasing in different times in variousperiods or districts, have always been on agenda of whole country. With regard to thissubjects that effect enterprise?s relations or interactions with outside world have beenevaluated in terms of existing literature. Terror concept which has been the biggest challengeto security of community and enterprises is evaluated in all respects including national andinternational aspects. In the direction of this informational base, we have applied a publicsurvey to 51 enterprises in different districts primarily the intensely affected cities fromterrorism, including 29 questions concerning the effect of security to production activities,marketing, costs, labor and raw material, personnel productivity and motivation. Enterprisesactivities have been evaluated by sorting out the results of public survey and deciding on theform, degree and attitude of the aforesaid functions which have been affected from securityenvironment.Key Words: Enterprise and environment, Terror and Terrorism, Security and Productivity.
