Abstract (EN)
EYE2 one of these proteins is regulated the organization of pigment granulation in the chloroplast stroma in the lack of photoreceptors. Interestingly, eye2-2 mutant strain's eyespot different from wild type strain, these reports led us to the hypothesize that these proteins are functional in the system of redox signal cascade. Based on this data, our aim was investigation of the change in EYE2 protein expression level with regard to time and medium in wild type and EYE2 mutant cells, which are formed through inclusion of two redox sistein residues. For this purpose, mutant strains were constructed and the expression level of EYE2 was explained by western blot in cells which were grown in TAP, R, M medium. Expression experiments of EYE2, using wild type and mutant cells did not reveal any significant difference in medium-dependent, strain-dependent or time-dependent. This study was supported by grant TUBITAK 115Z184, under the principal investigatorship of Prof. Dr. Atakan SUKATAR.
