Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to assess how openly couples can communicate with each other on sexual issues. The scale form developed for this purpose was applied to 300 participants between the ages of 18 and 50 December living in Turkey. Within the scope of the scale development study, reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis were carried out with a pilot application group consisting of 100 people, and confirmatory factor analysis was carried out with a different group consisting of 200 people. SPSS 27 software was used for the analysis of the data obtained from the research. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was found that the scale consists of 13 items and 1 factor. Cronbach's Alpha analysis was performed and the reliability of the internal consistency was examined and as a result, α=0.911 was found. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to determine the validity of the scale. As a result of the analysis, according to the results of the analysis, it was determined that some of the goodness of fit values of the 13-item form did not meet the expected criteria. 3 Items with low factor loads were removed from the scale and DFA was repeated by making some modifications. With the findings revealed, it shows that the structure of the CIAO consisting of 10 items and one sub-dimension can be evaluated as a valid and reliable measurement tool. However, for compliance validity, the participants were filled in the sub-items of three separate scales on similar subjects and Pearson and Spearman Brown correlation analyses were applied to the data obtained. As a result of the findings, it has been revealed that the scale developed within the scope of this study validly and reliably measures openness in sexual communication Decoupled between couples.
