Abstract (EN)

Tradition in Cihan Aktaş's Stories Cihan Aktaş, who has a versatile literary personality, started his publishing career in the first half of the 1980s. Cihan Aktaş, who works in the genres of novel, story, daily review-research, blends his works with his experiences, closely follows the developments in the country and gives the reader the opportunity to witness the period in his works. The characters in the stories of Cihan Aktaş, who has contributed a lot to our literature, are generally characters in daily life. Many teachings are told through the lives and moods of these characters. These characters not only give messages about many subjects but also carry traces of the dominant tradition of the period. In his stories, Cihan Aktaş reflects cultural elements such as social life, religious beliefs, clothing, style of dress, eating and drinking in connection with tradition. In this study, which we conducted with the question "How much is the presence of tradition in Aktaş's stories and to what extent is it reflected in his works?", Cihan Aktaş's thirteen story books were subjected to analysis. In this direction, the reflections of tradition on Cihan Aktaş's stories were determined and evaluated in our study.
