Assessment of the nati̇on bui̇ldi̇ng process i̇n Kosovo and Serbi̇a through cases of sexual vi̇olence"

This study, the main topic of which is assessment of the nation- building process in Kosovo and Serbia through cases of sexual violence. The aim of the study is to reveal rape and harassment crimes committed amid the ethnic conflict between Serbs and Kosovars (Albanians) during the breakup of Yugoslavia as well as the gender inequality in the subsequent nation-building process. The issue is based on rape and sexual assault crimes committed during conflict periods, as examining crimes of rape committed against men and women during armed conflict will help to better analyze the perception of the "other" both in times of conflict and peace and gender and sexual violence in the nation-building process.
