Abstract (EN)
The global framework has revealed that women have faced numerous processes and situations that are disadvantageous to them throughout history in the workplace. Although there has been a change and development over the years, women still face challenges in accessing higher hierarchical levels in the professional world. This study examines the transition periods from associate professor to full professor for women and men working in the field of Management and Organization in Turkey through the lens of gender. In this context, data from male and female professors were collected, and correlation analysis was applied. Additionally, women professors working in the field of Management and Organization, selected using the snowball sampling method, were chosen, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants. In this context, results were obtained that can be considered disadvantageous to women in terms of reaching professorship in the field of Management and Organization.
