Abstract (EN)

Game; it supports children to develop many skills by creating the most natural learning environment. Board games are also beneficial in improving children's skills effectively. Botany is a branch of science that talks about the plant kingdom and is also called botanical science. The plants in the botanical garden, where there are many varieties of plants, have quite different characteristics from each other. They have many senses specific to their species, such as seeing, perceiving, and smelling. Being able to support this subject with a box (table) role-playing game created about plants, which are very interesting due to these features, will provide detailed information about plants and learn by having fun, as it can attract the attention of children. General research on this subject is addressed to support this idea. In line with this research, the subject of "Botanical Garden for Children Educational Box (Table), Role Playing Game Design Application" was discussed. Within the scope of the research, the conceptual features of the botanical garden, box, table and role-playing game subjects are discussed, the plant species in a botanical garden are determined, the characteristics of these species, the information required for their care, the educational aspects and effects of the board game on children, the parents' Information is provided by discussing the issues to be considered about board games. The number of game designs determined on issues that require information about educational board games for children were examined in Turkey and abroad, the data were analyzed and these data were interpreted. During this study, the development of the game in line with the information obtained by interviewing the experts and the study to be carried out with the data handled in the direction of the researches, the integrity of the objects in the game design with each other, designed in accordance with the design purpose and the target group of children aged 3-5 and their trainers. The results were recorded by interviewing the experts.
